You are welcome to bring a few comfort items from home for your pet’s stay. To make things easier for both pets and staff, please review the guidelines below.

Bedding

• You may bring a small blanket or clothing item from home for the pampered space
• Beds are not needed, as a cot is provided if your pet is staying in a room
• If you would like to bring a bed, it must be washable and small to medium in size

Toys

• Toys are allowed
• Please do not bring rawhide, rope, fabric, or “squishy” toys
• Acceptable toys include Kong, Nylabone, Benebones, or other hard, sink-washable toys
• This helps prevent pets from ingesting unsafe items during their stay, as they are not monitored 24/7

Collars, Harnesses & Leashes

• Pets will be walked on our leashes while in our care
• You may leave your pet’s collar, harness, or leash with us
• These items will not be used unless medically necessary

Medication

• If your pet needs medication or any health-related supplement during their stay, please bring it in the original bottle with clear instructions
• We will use pill pockets, or you may provide another food item to help administer the medication

Food

• We feed Science Diet dry food for dogs and cats at no additional charge
• You may also bring your pet’s own food
• Pets can be fed 1–3 times per day
• We encourage you to provide the food your pet is used to eating
• Slow feeders are welcome, but regular bowls are not necessary since we provide them
• If your pet has special feeding instructions, meals must be pre-made or pre-measured with clear, easy-to-follow directions

Wet Food

• If your pet is a picky eater or may not eat well while staying with us, please provide wet food for the stay
• If clinic wet food is given multiple times during the stay, you will be charged for the cans used

Treats

• We can provide milk bones as treats during your pet’s stay, or you may bring your own
• Please only bring treats your pet is already accustomed to
• No rawhide bones
